What to do if...
...you have no hot water.
If your tank is electric:
- check fuses and breaker panel to ensure nothing there is the cause
- make sure you have double 20 amp fuses
If your tank is gas:
- make sure your venting outside is clear of snow, blowing garbage, or other possible obstructions
- for power vent gas water heaters, please look to ensure the cord for the ventor motor is plugged in
...there isn't ENOUGH hot water, or your water is discoloured or smelly.

...your water heater is leaking.
Please turn off the water to your tank and call @home Energy at 705.675.0525.
Please note:
In the event of a service call where the technician finds the tank to be working and to not be at fault, the cost of the service call charged back to the customer. Please check your fuse or breaker panel to ensure there is power going to the water heater before you call.
After events such as a power outage, please check your electrical panel if you find that you have no hot water.
In the event services to the water heater are required, please call 705-675-0525, any time of day or night. @home Energy does not cover costs resulting from damages to our rental equipment incurred through customer or unauthorized third parties or by flood, fire, accident, or other insurable risks.
